Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, preferably Associates Degree program; current CMA or RMA certification
• High school diploma or GED 
• Athena EMR experience a plus
• Friendly, Quick thinking, Enthusiastic, Resilient
• BLS certification a plus
• 2 year Associates degree preferred

Job Requirements

• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Proficient in Windows applications including electronic medical record experience
• High level oral/written communication skills and typing skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience with: insurance prior authorizations, referrals, preparing charts, scheduling, and clinical skills
• We require COVID-19 vaccination in addition to recommended health care worker vaccinations

Job Type

• Part time, Per Diem
• No nights or weekends
• LPN and RN are also encouraged to apply
